Emily works at a pizza place downtown where she is secretly gathering all the recipes. Emily has a background in culinary arts, through which she hopes to open up a bakery in Europe.

WKAR’s Curious About Careers Interactive Challenge

Robin Pizzo leads the education outreach efforts of WKAR Public Media at Michigan State University, the PBS and NPR affiliate serving Michigan’s capital region. Robin convenes partnerships and coordinates station initiatives such as WKAR Family, Ready to Learn and the Michigan Learning Channel. These resources provide workshops, learning tools, and direct family engagements to help kids be resilient, lifelong learners. As an author and avid reader, she believes in the power of literacy and works to ensure Mid-Michigan children have equitable opportunities to develop the skill and love of reading. Robin began at WKAR in January 2018.

My name is Tejal (she/they). I’m a first-generation Indian American yoga teacher, writer, podcaster, community organizer, and MSU Alum! I advocate for yoga through a social justice lens and educate and empower individuals and groups around the world to do the same. I accomplish this vision through the Tejal Yoga online studio, a revolutionary all South Asian teacher-led yoga community focused on social justice actions and authentic, culturally-rooted spiritual practices, the abcdyogi global community led by South Asian yoga and mindfulness teachers, and the Yoga is Dead Podcast, offering education through podcast, e-book, and webinar trainings.
